Journey of My Life

By : Rumbadi Dalle
I was born in a small town, Prabumulih approximately 100 kilometer from Palembang, capital of South Sumatera. My father worked for Pertamina ( Natrional's Oil Company ) as a Material Man ,
but has retired more than 25 years ago. He passed-away 06 August 2008.
When I was childhood I never went to play with my friend. I had to look after cows , to dig my paddy
field and to fance the paddy field. My father has three wives, one of them were difocrced when I
was in secondary school. I am the first son of first wife. I have one brother and one sister. Second
wife of my father has 9 people, five sons and four daughters . My mother cannot read, she never
went to school while she were child, so she really hard-working mother, because he never though of
how to be an rich man. " You should be a smart man," she advised.
I could not passed the exam of Senior High School because my father did not pay my school fees, as
a result I was allowed to attend the final examination. I really frustration, be hopeless and - for a
long time- I did not want to meet my friends especially classmate. Be shy!. What am I going to do ?.
Finally, I made decision to work as a helper of truck driver. My job to change clean the truck, to
repair flat tire and so forth. I did not get pay enough, however my driver gave me meal everyday. But
I did not care about salary, I want to be a driver, however, it is not easy, my driver do not give me
steer before working with him for at least three months. I never gone home, sleep in the truck, in
the morning my driver's wife gave a glass of cofee and snack. Sometimes I had lunch at 15.00 pm.
At last I am able to drive truck, but a problem arise how to get driving license. Driving license very
expesive for me at that time . To overcome this problem, I was taxi driver. Actually, it is not taxi, the
people called : Oplet, took passenger from Pertamina Complex, Bakaran Area to market. As a oplet
driver I get better income, beside to buy meal, but also safe my income for getting driving license.
For getting driving license, I have to safe my income for one year.
In the morning I was as a oplet driver, in the evening I underwent English Language Course. As you
have konwn, my small town there are a lot drilling company from America, Australia and Canada.
According to my friend, it would be easier to be a driver of foreign company if I hold driving license
and speak English. I took this chance. However, although I hold driving license, can speak English ,
but to aplly any position even as a driver, we have to face a competition. Number of people can
speak Englisah and also have driving license. I remeber advise of my mother that : " Please, get up
in the morning, and pray to our God," she said. I always remember that advise and always get up in
the morning, 5 am start cleaning my house, took the clean water from well possession another
person approximately 300 meter from home. This way make my mother happy before leaving the
house.
Once upon time I looked around in the market and saw a new car full with sticker written down
RMI. I looked for information about this car and new foreign company. My friend Hendrawan, owner
of a restaurant in my town told me that a lot foreigners came to his restaurant in the evening. " You
come to my restaurant in evening," he suggested. In the other day, came to my restaurant and
brought application letter. No experienced letter, no sertificate of Senior High Schooll attached, only a
copy of driving license and Short list of Curriculum Vitae. That's all. Good Luck!. I met Mr. Jhon
Aboud, Manager Procurement and Material of RMI ( Resources Management Incoporated ), a
company from America.
" Excuse me, would you mind speaking English with me," I asked. He replied : " Of course, why not-
what can I do for you," Jhon Aboud replied. He is very kind man, smile and make me happy. He let me sit down close to him, and ordered one cup of coffee for me. He spoke to me that he is from America and got a project in Pertamina as a sub-contractor. His company responsibility to purchase spare part and material for heavy transportation equipment such as Caterpilar, Scamel Prime Mover and all part of drilling rig for supporting aktivities in drilling oil and gas.
In short, he required me to met him a day later in the morning. At night, I could not sleep well to think a hope from Mr. J.Aboud. Would he hire me or in turn?. Finish doing my aktivities in my house such as cleaning floor, took fresh water, boiled water and boiled rice, took little bit breakfast I went to Mr.J.Aboud's house in Pertamina complex approximately one kilo meter from house. I went on foot, because there were transportation facilities such as taxi or oplet got that place.

HOME::Internet-and-Businesses-Online/Affiliate-Revenue X

By Carter Boylston

If you've ever stayed up late and watched infomercials on TV, you've constantly seen products in action. Instead of one person sitting in front of you talking about how great a product is, you see others using the product and the results they're achieving. But when it comes to affiliate marketing, most people fail miserably at this. Want to break away from the pack?
Take in mind these 3 reasons to reconsider your affiliate marketing strategy.
Your Subscriber List Is Wary Of Hype

Most likely, the readers on your subscriber list are not completely new to the Internet. They have been exposed to sales letters, blog posts, and all sorts of media trying to sell them on something. This constant advertising makes them wary. Yet even the gurus with huge amounts of readers inundate their readers with hype. So, take the hype of a product and compare it to the reality.

Your Subscriber List Craves Seeing Results
As a result of all this hype, your readers have a thirst for being able to achieve results. Take any affiliate product that you'd like to promote, put it into action, and show off exactly why this product works. PayPal screens aren't enough here. Clear away all your readers' doubts and be transparent. This strategy will get your readers excited to buy the product from you instead of any of your competitors.

Your Subscriber List Wants To Know Others Can Succeed
Unfortunately, many of your readers will believe that you have an incredible power to achieve results. To help them move beyond this, keep in contact with readers who have purchased through your affiliate link. Ask them how they used your affiliate product and if it's been successful. Offer to highlight these people in your ezine. Once you do this, the other readers will see that success isn't limited to just a chosen few.

You don't have to be wild and crazy like most of the hosts of infomercials to promote affiliate products. Instead, you just need to show clearly that the products you've chosen can help your subscriber list achieve results. Failing to do this means you're not meeting your readers' needs- and missing out on becoming a super affiliate one day.

Article Writing Strategy

Writing can be a daunting task for many beginning writers, but it doesn't have to that way if you follow the tips in this article. There is only one way to help you write faster, and that has nothing or little to do with writing skills.

Often people find reasons not to write without really trying. Their mind resists it so strongly they just think they can't do it. Even without particular structure, I find that anyone can write, although it may take a few hours just to finish one short article. By the way, that is exactly what happened to me a few years ago.

So the first thing you need is to change the story on your head. You can use different methods such as visualization or even just challenge yourself to prove your thoughts are wrong. You'll be glad you're wrong!

The key to get writing quickly is to master the topic you're going to write about. If you know nothing in a niche, especially if it is a highly technical topic, you can't write quickly without spending time on the research. This is one of the reasons why being passionate in what you do is important.

If you don't know about the topic, you must spend the time to read and learn about it. With passion, this can be much easier.

With some knowledge in the topic, when challenged with a topic, you can quickly write a few points, research a bit and complete the whole article skeleton in a few minutes. What's left is to expound each of the point to a few sentences and before long you finish the article.

For consultants, this may be easy because they are already knowledgeable in their field. Turning thoughts into written words can be as easy as writing what you think, just like when you talk.

It's true that anyone can do a bit of research to come up with a lot of article ideas, but even with a structure in place it can be hard to expound a point if you have little clue about the topic. It helps if you read a lot of articles first and rewrite the points from your head. Don't ever copy other people's articles. It puts your name and business at stake.

In summary, if you are into a long term business, go to Amazon or local bookstore and buy a few good books on the topic and read it. Soon you'll find yourself knowledgeable to expand a typical idea or point into a few sentences, paragraphs or even multiple articles.

4 Hot New Methods to Supercharge Your Article Writing

By Sean R Mize Platinum Quality Author

Some marketers are spending so much time writing and distributing their articles online but they can't simply obtain even a fraction of their traffic potential. Most of these people simply don't know how to use the elements that can make their articles and marketing strategies more impacting while others simply don't know how to do the process right. I am sure you don't want to become one of them and you would want to maximize the benefits that article writing can offer. You can do this by simply following these 4 latest methods that can help you supercharge your article writing techniques:

1. Learn the ropes of writing effective titles. You need to remember that no matter how informative your articles are, they will not be opened and read by online users if your titles are poorly written. You have to believe expert marketers when they say that 98% of your success in marketing your articles will largely depend on the quality of your titles. So, spend more time when writing your titles and ensure that they can capture the attention of online users and that they can move these people to take action in your favor.

2. Boost the number of your articles. As article writing is a game of numbers, it is safe to say that 20-100 articles will not do the trick. If you want more traffic and higher page ranking for your website, you need to find ways on how you can multiply the number of your copies without sacrificing their quality. This is the best way to boost the number of your inbound links that can greatly help in pulling up your search engine ranking.

3. Deliver outstanding articles. You will be able to generate more attention online and you can easily lure ezine publishers to use your content if you can make your articles truly outstanding and compelling. Ensure that they are packed with useful and valuable information and that they are well-written. They must also be short, direct to the point, and easy to understand.

4. Make your articles scannable. Did you know that online users do not usually read articles word for word? These people usually skim through the content so they will easily find the information they need and ditch other data that are of little interest to them. You can better help these people if you can use subheadings on all your paragraphs and bullet list when you are sharing tips, techniques, and step-by-step guides.

Announcing 4 Easy Ways to Energize Your High Ticket Business
By Sean R Mize

Sean R Mize"Sean Mize is a powerful online mentor and coach who teaches people exactly what to do and how to do it to reap great rewards

Are your high ticket information base products not selling well online? Then, it's about time that you energize your high ticket business creation strategies to make your products more valuable and impacting to the eyes of online users. Here's how you can do that:

1. Define your audience. It is very important to know the people you are serving before you develop your products. You need to know their pressing issues, the kind of information they need, their burning questions, their needs and demands, and the other elements that put them in a position of needing your products or your expertise. By doing so, you can make your research and other related tasks highly focused and targeted.

2. Choose a subject. As you need to be a great source of information to your clients, you need to stick with topics that you are good at. List down all the things that you are very passionate about or very knowledgeable on. It could be that you are an SEO expert or you are very good at creating websites. Then, choose the ones from your list that have viable market online or those topics that online users will die to know about.

3. Check the competition online. It is not enough that there is a huge demand for your chosen topic. You need to know how many marketers are currently targeting it so you can gauge how stiff is the competition that you are up against. If the competition is cutthroat or if the supply is more than the demand, I'd say go with another topic as it will become virtually impossible for you to make decent sale in their scenario.

4. Involve your potential clients. Sometimes, keyword research will not really capture what your potential clients really need. That is why it is extremely recommended that you build an ongoing dialogue with the people that you are serving. You can do this by communicating with them through your blog or through relevant forums. Ask them directly what they truly want to learn and how you can possibly help them out. I am sure you'll be amazed at how many great products ideas you'll be able to obtain through this simple gesture. However, if you have so much on your plate and if you don't have time to spare each day, I suggest that you just encourage your potential clients to send in their feedback, ideas, and recommendations through your website.

Sceptic, its intention is not credolous at what said by guest speaker specially public functionary. On that account, chack and recheck require to utilize to reach news balance. Eclectic to be rich of items to be written.

How to Write Your Article Now!

If you are committed enough, I can show you how you can write your article now and get done in 30 minutes or less. Are you ready? Read on.

If you think you are having a writer's block right now, I don't believe it. It is a story you run on your mind. It is what you believe, and you can be wrong, for good! In most cases, you have a problem or two that haven't been solved yet. Find solutions to them and you will find yourself writing smoothly.

A tool that I often use is to article template. I have multiple templates that I can pick up at anytime to write my next article. Let's take a good one, the mistakes or myths article template.

To make use of this, you need to list 3-7 mistakes or myths your target market make. If you have more than 7, you can always use them for the next article.

Once you get all of them written, now it is time to go through each of the items in the list and expound a bit about it. You can add example, rebut it and show the reality, etc. You don't need 4-5 paragraphs, just 3-5 sentences are enough.

If you can write 4-5 paragraphs for each item, you can write one article per mistake and end up with 8 articles (7 mistakes plus the one you are writing).

Repeat the process until you exhaust the list. Finally, add 3-5 sentences at the beginning of the article as the introductory paragraph. You can also add a few sentences to close the article, but those are optional.

You may expect more, but that's it. All you have to do is add a title if you haven't done so when you first wrote down the list. Reread the article once again to correct spelling and grammatical errors and your article is ready for submission.

Now rinse and repeat. Instead of writing one article now, make it two!

Writing Jobs - Set Goals and Get Hired Today

Do you have all the writing jobs you can handle? Top professional writers are always snowed under with offers; they can pick and choose what they want to write and for whom, because people come to them.

Here's the difference between you and a pro - a pro sets goals for everything he does.

If you're not writing, but are spending all your time hunting for great writing jobs, then start setting goals. It will make you much more effective, I guarantee. And it will increase your income too.

1. Your First Goal - Sell Something Today

Nothing happens until you sell something. So set a goal right now, to sell something every week. What will you sell? Who cares? Sell an article to a magazine or to a Web site.

It doesn't matter WHAT you sell - just sell. Selling your writing is a habit, and once you get the habit, you can increase your sales at will, just by doing what works. Consistent sales give you experience, and confidence.

Set your first goal to sell something each week. Then set a goal to sell something every day.

2. Your Second Goal - Ace a Market You LOVE

Want to sell to any market you choose? Here's how.

People (editors and other buyers of your writing) buy from people they know. This means that the first time someone hears your name, they will not buy from you. Think about it. Why should they? They don't know you.

Here's a secret to selling to any market you wish: you can do it, if you never stop trying.

Bearing in mind that people have to get to know you, keep sending ideas and queries to markets which ignore you. All my magazine sales happened when I just fell in love with a particular magazine. I'd wait for each issue, read it cover to cover, and would patiently submit ideas.

Soon the editor called - because he got to know me. He knew how I wrote, what my favorite topics were, and when he had a project which needed my talents he called.

Editors are people. They have to get to know you. So make a long term commitment to a publication you love, and start building the relationship. The contacts you build will keep you in work forever - once you get known, people pass your name around.

3. Your Third Goal - Commit to Getting Known As a Writer

I can't emphasize this strongly enough: people have to get to know you! (As I've said many times in this article, so please remember it, it will make all the difference to your career.) Your name is the most vital asset you have. Once you get known as a writer, people will track you down because they want to work with YOU.

There are many ways to get known. Nowadays, it all starts with your Web site. Get your own domain (Internet address) and get your site into Google. When people search Google for you, they must be able to find you.

Getting known as a writer is a long term project. It never ends. And it ensures that every day, your email Inbox is stuffed with people offering you projects.

Professional writers don't hunt for writing jobs - the jobs come to them.

It all starts with the goals you set; so set the three goals today.

Technical Writing - Definition of Foreword, Introduction, and Preface

Definition of foreword, introduction, and preface
OK, let's get started. Easy enough to say, but what do we start with? What comes first, a foreword, an introduction, or a preface? The best way to approach the subject is to look at what they do.

A foreword, if we follow the generally accepted definition in publishing, is an introduction to a book by someone other than the author. It comes right after the Table of Contents, and the pages are numbered with lower-case Roman numerals, e.g., i, ii, iii, etc., rather than the Arabic numerals used for the text of the book.

Ideally, it's written by an expert on the subject of the book who says that the author did a good job writing about the subject. The foreword generally speaks well of the author.

A foreword, as the spelling indicates, is a word that comes before. It's not a forward, which is a direction, or a foreward, which is a misspelling.

A preface is usually written by the author of a book and often gives an overview of how the book came to be written, its intended purpose, and to what extent it covers the topic. It may come before or after the foreword, but it usually comes after and follows the same page numbering system. The preface may also include acknowledgements.

An introduction is also written by the author (or, sometimes, the editor). It's an essay that sets up the full topic of a book. It states what the author's point of view is and may indicate what the reader's point of view should be. After reading the introduction to find out what's in the book, the reader can decide whether or not to read it. Since it's part of the text, the pages are numbered with the same numbering system as the text.

Being a tech writer is a great job. Go interesting places, meet really smart people, learn new things and make really good money. Which is why it's such a rapidly growing profession. The down side, though, is that there are people who get into the business without knowing as much about it as they should.

Starting a Career in Journalism

There are many different types of journalism styles out there to choose from when starting a career in journalism. You may have already decided on a style that interests you but whether you are into Gonzo journalism or reporting news, most journalists start from ground zero and build themselves and their reputation up from there. No matter what style you chose in the end there are some important things to remember in order to get your work noticed.

There are certain traits a budding journalist will already need to have when embarking on a career in journalism. A good journalist must have; a keen interest in people, an inquisitive nature, ability to meet deadlines and outstanding communication skills. Basically, if you are not interested in what people have to say, their emotions and their achievements you simply can not function as a journalist.

Take up a part time course

I have met many people who have found taking an evening or at home journalism course very helpful. They won't teach you all you possibly need to know but they give you a good base to start with. You can find courses like this at most local colleges that run during the year or even shorter courses for ten weeks at a time. Online journalism schools especially offer an array of courses which are more specialized such as sports journalism, community journalism, photo journalism, feature articles, conducting interviews, shorthand and many more. It will give you a base to start gaining experience which all journalists need. You never know, it might open doors to other things!

Cross your T's and dot your I's!

I really can not stress enough the importance of spelling, punctuation and grammar. Sending off work that has not been spell checked or edited will only look bad on you and will tarnish your reputation. An editor might think you have a good story, but they do not have time to correct mistakes as they have deadlines too. An important tip to remember is to never not proof read your own work and to double check over and over!

Read and write whenever you get the chance

Try to read whatever you can get your hands on. It is important for a journalist to keep up to date and analyse other styles that are out there. This will also help you develop a good news sense. It is a good tip from early on to archive clippings of any articles you have written, as you might need to fall back on them later.

Try and read and rewrite smaller articles as much as you can. This is a good habit to pick up to keep you in the 'write' frame of mind. I find it helps before writing anything as the words seems to flow more.

When I first started writing as a freelance journalist the only way I could really publicize myself was to write for free for a local community newspaper. Free jobs like these I feel is where the most experience is gained as you get the chance to strengthen your style and build up the speed in which you can produce a good article. It will give you a good opportunity to build up relationships with editors and get to know good contacts.

There are also many different outlets out there that you can use to advertise your work. The internet is one of the best for this. You can also start your own website, blog, ghost write... There are many websites that offer new and experienced writers places to showcase their work. With the internet especially, there are no limits to what you can do!
